筆電 touchpad 的設定

最近比較常用 touchpad，這才發現在 debian 的 touchpad 動作不正常，症狀包括：

• 水平/垂直捲動無效
• 在 touchpad 單點點撃無效 (在 windows 是模擬成滑鼠左鍵)

需要調校一下 /etc/X11/xorg.conf：

最重要的是 HorizEdgeScroll 與 VertEdgeScroll 要打開

在 touchpad 單點點撃的設定是 TapButton1

發覺如果進 X Window System 時在 .xinitrc 跑 gnome-settings-daemon，TapButton1 (輕點一下 touchpad) 與 Scrolling (捲動) 會失效。

臨時的解決方式：

$ synclient TapButton1=1
$ synclient HorizEdgeScroll=1
$ synclient HorizScrollDelta=100
$ synclient VertEdgeScroll=1
$ synclient VertScrollDelta=100

也可由 gconf-editor 解決：

/desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/disable_while_typing (bool)
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/tap_to_click (bool)
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/scroll_method (int 0=off, 1=edge-scrolling, 2=two-finger-scrolling)
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/horiz_scroll_enabled (bool)

如果在 gconf-editor 設定好，TapButton1 ok，但水平 scrolling 仍有問題，需執行

$ synclient HorizScrollDelta=100
